Palo Duro Canyon

Just outside the city of Amarillo is Palo Duro Canyon consisting of 26,000 Acres. It's the second biggest Canyon in the United States. The Canyon is 120 miles, 20 miles wide, and more than 800 feet deep. The elevation at the rim is 3,500 above sea level.
